Solution Strategy: Sale promotion. Spirit of ’76 campaign celebrated Jensen-Sheehan’s 50th anniversary. The star of the campaign was Hercules, an antique truck “mascot” of the agency. Hercules was built by Ford in 1926, the year the agency was founded. Promotions included newspaper ads, correspondence seals, and a children’s coloring sheet with an illustration of Hercules. The back of the coloring sheet featured notable events and personalities of 1926.
