Ideas for building visits to your online office

Need an idea to introduce your new Web site or a rebuilt site?  Here are a couple of creative ways to build quality traffic, promote your agency, and delight your audiences at the same time.

Conduct a scavenger hunt

Send out a mailing filled with clues to answers that can be found on your site. A postcard mailing could do the trick.  Scatter the answers throughout your site so that participants have to search the whole site to be winners.

Everyone who participates should receive a token “thank you” item.  Everyone who participates and gets all the answers correctly should receive a small gift item: if you conduct your hunt during the summer or fall, maybe a frisbie imprinted with your agency logo and positioning line?

Send Jumbo Postcards with home page on frontside

Use a “Take a site-seeing tour” or similar theme.  Put a full-screen visual of your home page on the frontside.  On the address side, list all the “interactive” things and important information your customers and prospects can find on your site.
