Risk Management Information

Customers look to you for direction

The end benefit for your customers is peace of mind.  How well do you deliver it? What communication programs do you have in place to consistently remind customers of your value as a professional advisor? Providing safety and loss control information enhances your value.

Price v. Value

Some customers measure value by price alone.  Most customers understand and appreciate true value, i.e. what they get for what they pay. They make value decisions every day.  At the food market.  At the clothing store.  At the local auto dealer. They make value decisions about their choice of insurance agents, too.

Insurance value decisions

Insurance purchasing value decisions take into account:  knowledge, friendliness, caring attitude, accuracy of information, claims handling, ease of doing business, reminders about important deadlines, stability of the insurer, quality of service by insurer, advice and counsel about coverages and risks…and, of course, price.

Carrier support?

The companies you represent may have some risk management literature you can order and mail, handout or display in your agency.  If you have a newsletter, feature safety articles in every issue; maybe enclose a safety flier.

We offer Advisory Bulletins for your use

We produce one-page Advisory Bulletins for personalization and distribution by our agent clients. These advisories cover a range of subjects. Safety and loss control.  Personal security. Insurance purchasing tips.  And more.

Agents tell us:

“At our agency, we feel we have a frontline underwriting responsibility to counsel customers about risks.”

“We actually get thank yous from customers who tell us they appreciate the information.”

“Our advisories differentiate us from our competition down the street.”
