Lupton & Luce upgrades Website 

One of our oldest and most respected clients has steadily upgraded its Web site over the past six months.  Step-by-step, Hal Luce, principal of Lupton & Luce Insurance, Inc., Riverhead, NY, has managed to add more interactivity to the site, more reasons for customers to re-visit the site, and more interesting human interest visuals. Check out some of the things Hal has done.  

 

 

Building traffic  

The site now features an ever-changing scroll on the home page, customer safety advisories, his personal lines and commercial lines newsletter, a slide show, and other valuable information.   

His most recent addition in the About Us section is a Meet Our Counselors  page.  We want to give Hal and his team a solid thumbs up and Atta Boy Award for the way this page is handled: meaty bios for each producer and quality portrait photos. The latter is especially important.  I see lots of photos of people and offices on agent Web sites and ads that look like passport pictures or worse!  

Rule about photos 

The rule: When you use photos make sure they are of excellent quality…the quality that you want identified with your name, your agency and your people. If you can’t afford a pro and you don’t have the services of a talented amateur photo buff, skip the local photos for now.  

Hal followed the rule.  Atta Boy!
